The Opportunity

Sunscrapers is pivoting. We are moving from a generalist software consultancy to a specialized Data & AI Partner for Private Capital (VC/PE). We have the expertise, the case studies, and the vision. Now, we need the volume.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to build our outbound sales engine from the ground up. You won't just be "calling leads"—you will be building the database, testing messaging, and turning market noise into qualified conversations for the CEO.

Your Mission (The "What")

Your primary goal is to build a predictable pipeline of qualified leads in the Private Capital market. You will validate our new positioning by getting our content and concepts directly in front of decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the Database: systemically map out the market. Identify target firms (VC funds >$1B AUM, aspiring funds, Family Offices) and key decision-makers (CTOs, Heads of Data, Investment Partners).
  • Execute "Smart" Outreach: Run highly personalized campaigns. You aren't just asking for a meeting; you are asking for feedback on our ideas and sharing valuable content to start conversations.
  • Promote our "Entry" Products: focus on selling our low-friction entry points, such as Workshops or specific PoCs, to get our foot in the door.
  • The Feedback Loop: You are the ears on the ground. You will document objections, questions, and market feedback to help us refine our value proposition.
  • Systematize the Hustle: Implement tools and processes (CRM, automation) to ensure no lead is lost and follow-ups are automatic.

  • You are Curious & Tech-Savvy: You embrace AI. You don't just "use" tools; you test new ways to automate research or personalize messages at scale. You can talk intelligently about Data and AI without needing to be an engineer.
  • You are a "Scientist": You treat sales like an experiment. “Subject line A didn’t work? Let’s try B.” You make decisions based on data, not gut feeling.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B outbound sales (SDR/BDR or full-cycle), preferably in tech or professional services.
  • Experience selling to US/UK markets is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with the Private Capital / VC landscape is a bonus, but curiosity is mandatory.
  • Excellent written English—you can write emails that busy executives actually read.
