About the Job:

Crumdale is currently looking to fill the position of Business Development Representative.  In this critical role, you'll be the engine behind our broker partner growth, prospecting leads, securing appointments, and supporting our Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) with targeted outreach strategies. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team-first environment, brings new ideas to the table, and is excited to help build something special. Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and pre-qualify prospective broker partners that align with Crumdale’s distribution model
  • Educate prospective brokers on Crumdale’s solutions through initial outreach
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to support regional sales strategies and territory expansion
  • Execute strategic outreach campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate consistent First-Time Appointments (FTAs)
  • Partner with RSDs to build and refine outreach sequences within CRM
  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline to support assigned RSD’s
  • Support broader sales initiatives and special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in a business development, sales support, or inside sales role (insurance or healthcare experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with the self-insured market or interest in learning about cost containment solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport over phone, email, and video
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Coachable, collaborative, and excited to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms
