We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow. As an BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for many prospective customers – playing a critical role in identifying new opportunities and driving revenue for the organization. You’ll partner closely with our sales & marketing teams to fill the top of the funnel, engage new prospects, and accelerate our sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect with purpose – Execute personalized outbound campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and social channels to engage banks and credit unions.
- Qualify inbound interest – Engage and vet inbound leads, aligning prospects to our ideal customer profile.
- Tell a compelling story – Clearly articulate Digital Onboarding’s value to financial institutions, with messaging tailored to each persona.
- Book high-quality meetings – Set up discovery calls for our Account Executives and ensure a smooth handoff with context-rich notes.
- Leverage technology – Manage activity and track performance metrics in Salesforce. Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to sharpen targeting.
- Collaborate and iterate – Work closely with sales and marketing to test messaging, provide feedback, and improve top-of-funnel conversion.
- Stay sharp – Maintain an understanding of industry trends, competitive positioning, and how we create value for our customers.
- Review new inbound leads, prioritize follow-ups, and prep for discovery calls
- Craft tailored outbound emails and messages to connect with financial institution decision-makers
- Make thoughtful outreach calls and social touches to advance opportunities
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and target outreach
- Join the team huddle to share insights, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate wins
- Update Salesforce with lead activity and pipeline progression
- Collaborate with marketing to test new messaging or campaign ideas
- End the day with a quick review of your metrics and prep for tomorrow’s outreach
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to hit goals and thrive in a performance-driven environment
- Coachability, grit, and a passion for growth—personally and professionally
- A self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
- A collaborative mindset and strong intrinsic motivation
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google Workspace
- Enthusiasm for the fintech or financial services space (bonus if you’ve sold into banks or credit unions)
