This is a remote position.
Apricot is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR) to build pipeline with companies that need remote talent and align with our values. In this role, you will identify the right prospects, start thoughtful conversations, and book qualified discovery meetings for Apricot's leadership. Your work will help connect skilled, resilient professionals with meaningful remote opportunities while strengthening client teams.
Apricot is a nonprofit staffing company serving global employers while creating meaningful remote-work opportunities for displaced and underserved professionals from Palestine and the wider MENA region. We work with growth-stage small and mid-sized companies across the US, Canada, Europe, and the GCC that need reliable, high-caliber talent and value a mission-driven partner.
• Identify, research, and prioritize high-value prospects that fit Apricot's ideal client profile, including companies hiring remote tech and tech-adjacent talent.
• Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, enrichment tools, and thoughtful manual research.
• Run multi-channel outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other effective channels; personalize messages at scale and follow up until there is a clear outcome.
• Qualify prospects by understanding hiring needs, urgency, decision process, budget readiness, and alignment with mission-driven staffing.
• Book discovery meetings for leadership, provide clear hand-off notes, and improve show rates through confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and pre-call alignment.
• Keep CRM activity, notes, statuses, and outcomes accurate; track conversion from outreach through response, meeting, opportunity, and closed-won results.
Requirements
What you bring
- 1-3+ years of outbound B2B sales, lead generation, or agency/services business-development experience, including prospecting and setting meetings.
- Sound judgment in qualifying opportunities and prioritizing outreach, including when information is incomplete.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to build rapport with C-level executives, co-founders, VP-level buyers, and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organization, persistence, and follow-through in a remote, cross-functional environment; you close loops and keep a clean pipeline.
- A responsible approach to confidential client information, prospect data, and CRM records.
- Genuine interest in Apricot's mission and comfort advocating for displaced talent with prospective clients.
Helpful, but not essential
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, outreach tools, enrichment tools, and AI tools for research, personalization, and efficient follow-up.
- Experience working with distributed teams or selling to buyers across the US, Canada, Europe, or the GCC.
- Experience in staffing, recruitment, talent, tech, or other mission-driven services environments.
