VanishID is growing and we want you to join our mission to keep people and enterprises safe. We are adding a Business Development Representative to our team, who will focus on following up on inbound leads, prospecting into potential customer accounts, and building qualified pipeline. This person will work with Sales team members to identify target accounts and craft outbound campaigns with the goal of increasing prospects' awareness and interest in VanishID. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Development.
Location: Work will be remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What you will do in the Business Development Representative role:
Understand VanishID’s product offering, value proposition, and the competitive landscape
Be knowledgeable about our partners and their integrated product and service offerings
Be relentless in understanding the needs, pain points, and desired outcomes of our prospects and customers
Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accounts
Set meetings with organizations with our targeted personas via integrated marketing campaigns, marketing activities, and traditional outbound prospecting
Respond to and qualify inbound leads regarding VanishID products
Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
Maintain engagement with new and existing leads to increase interest in VanishID
Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of quality meetings and sourced opportunities
Maintain Salesforce as the system of record
Perform daily cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to target accounts
Characteristics we are looking for in a candidate include (need to have):
6+ months of business/sales development experience or similar professional experience
Ability to make a high volume of outbound activities daily to engage prospects
Technically proficient and able to communicate the value of VanishID to both technical and business leaders
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent prioritization, organization, and focus
