As a Business Development Representative, you will prospect for new customers, drive sales of PTC solutions, manage leads, and collaborate with various teams to support sales efforts.

The Inside Sales (ISS) organization partners with our global marketing and sales teams to generate a customer pipeline and drive bookings from the inside. Besides pipeline and bookings contribution, in the last few years this team has been counted on as the talent pool for the PTC global sales workforce.

Your impact:

  • Prospect for new customers and sell PTC solutions to New Prospect Accounts focusing on business to business sales and Global Strategic Accounts
  • Cross and upselling activities in strategic accounts
  • Grow pipeline and revenue across PTC’s proven Digital Transformation solutions portfolio

You will be part of an international and energetic team within a multicultural environment where professionals from throughout Europe interact with current & future PTC customers. We just moved into brand new offices with sea views in the Poblenou area in Barcelona!

Day-To-Day:

  • Execute on marketing-qualified leads and prospect in existing accounts as well as targeting new logos
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development
  • Conduct outbound calls to generate opportunities and set up meetings
  • Accurately record activities (calls, emails, demos) of leads within SFDC
  • Answer incoming calls and emails in relation to sales questions
  • Assist in the execution of campaigns within your territory
  • Work with cross functional groups such as Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Operations

Preferred Experience:

  • 6 to 12 months of related experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles

  • Ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic & multicultural work environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and in one of Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Danish is mandatory.

PTC determines compensation using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant professional experience, skills, qualifications, role responsibilities, and the role’s geographic location.

The anticipated annual OTE range for this position is €24,000 – €63,000 for the stated work location. This range reflects the expected remuneration for the role at the time of posting.

In addition to base salary, the position may be eligible to participate in a performance-based variable compensation plan, where applicable, in accordance with established plan rules and local legal requirements.

Final compensation will be determined within the stated salary range, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience relative to the role’s requirements and the applicable internal compensation framework.

Eligible employees may also be offered the opportunity to participate in PTC’s Employee Share Purchase Programme (ESPP), subject to local eligibility criteria and applicable law.
