Your Next Career Opportunity - Business Development Representative II
The primary function of the Business Development Representative II is to identify, research, and qualify prospective customers and strategic partners in support of revenue growth. This position serves at the front end of the sales process by generating qualified leads, scheduling discovery meetings, conducting market research, and maintaining accurate customer relationship management records for the business development and strategic account management teams.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders within target markets.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, including email campaigns, telephone outreach, professional networking platforms, industry databases, and event participation.
- Schedule introductory meetings and discovery calls for business development and strategic account managers.
- Maintain targeted prospect records and actively manage lead-nurturing activities.
- Support account-based marketing and strategic prospecting initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends, target accounts, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, inside sales, account management, or marketing.
- Experience conducting research and prospecting within enterprise organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting sales activities within the data center, telecommunications, fiber, cloud, artificial intelligence infrastructure, colocation, or technology sectors.
- Experience using customer relationship management platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with consultative selling and account-based sales strategies.
