About The Role:

We are seeking a super-talented Business Development Representative to join our Spryng team in the Netherlands.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be the engine of our commercial growth in the German market. We're looking for someone who is passionate about actively seeking out new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in Germany.
You will be at the forefront of our new business development efforts, responsible for identifying, qualifying, and creating a pipeline of potential new customers. Your success will directly contribute to our New Business team's targets and the overall expansion of our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomous Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively research and identify new potential clients and key decision-makers within the German market. Develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation with a focus on cold outreach, networking, and leveraging existing contacts, complemented by occasional face-to-face client visits to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outreach campaigns including cold calling, email, and social selling to connect with prospects, leveraging a modern tech stack that includes Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Amplemarket.
  • Inbound Lead Management: Qualify and engage with the most promising inbound leads, ensuring a prompt and effective follow-up to convert them into opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification & Discovery: Conduct discovery calls to assess prospect needs, determine their interest, and qualify them as a genuine sales opportunity.
  • Meeting Management & Sales Cycle Execution: Independently conduct and manage the majority of client meetings and product demonstrations. For larger, high-value, or complex opportunities, collaborate and co-host meetings alongside the Business Development Manager (BDM) or the Country Manager (CM). Assist in navigating sales cycles from initial contact to opportunity creation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with new prospects, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions effectively.
  • CRM System Mastery: Accurately log all sales activities, update client information, manage your pipeline, and generate insightful reports using our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Collaboration: Thrive in a highly collaborative, global environment. You will regularly work cross-functionally with international colleagues from BDMs to Marketing and Customer Success to continually sharpen your outreach strategy and ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
  • Performance Tracking & Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated, contributing significantly to the company's financial objectives.

  • Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome, though 1–2 years in sales or SaaS/CPaaS business development is a strong plus.
  • Communication: Fluent in German (native level) and highly proficient in English, with strong presentation and proposal skills.
  • Business Development: Proactive approach to identifying market trends and opening doors with new client accounts.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving: Adaptable, positive in the face of challenges, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative spirit with a passion for learning and growing with the team.

Skills Required

  • Fluent German (native level)
  • Highly proficient English
  • Proven ability to generate leads and perform high-volume multi-channel outreach (cold calling, email, social selling)
  • Experience using a CRM and accurately logging sales activities (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Ability to conduct discovery calls, qualify leads, manage meetings and product demonstrations
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Resilient, persistent, results-driven with strong problem-solving skills
  • 1-2 years sales or SaaS/CPaaS business development experience
  • Familiarity with outreach tools (Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket)
