BPOD is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Brazil and support a global leader in data protection, recovery, cybersecurity, and intelligent information management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Position Mission:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating qualified pipeline by identifying, prospecting, and nurturing new business opportunities across the Brazilian market. This role focuses exclusively on top-of-the-funnel activities, including outbound prospecting and lead qualification, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a strong flow of opportunities through both channel and direct motions.
Success in this role requires a proactive, persistent, and organized professional with a strong understanding of modern prospecting tools and strategies (experience with tools such as Sales Navigator, Regie.ai, among others, is preferred). Familiarity with data protection, cybersecurity, and intelligent information management solutions — along with their value propositions — is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research target accounts within the Brazilian market in alignment with the ideal customer profile and the sales team’s priorities.
- Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) using tools such as Regie.ai and others.
- Qualify inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to assess potential fit and readiness to engage with sales.
- Book introductory meetings and discovery calls for the account executive team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and activity records in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead conversion strategies.
- Track performance against KPIs including opportunity creation, outbound campaigns, and prospect engagement rates.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s portfolio, customer pain points, and messaging frameworks within the data protection, cybersecurity, and information management space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field is required.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles: BDR, SDR, Partner Sales, ideally in technology companies.
- Hands-on experience with prospecting tools like Outreach, Apollo, Regie.ai is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce (SFDC), is a strong plus.
- Experience engaging with channel/reseller models is beneficial but not required.
Languages:
- Fluency in English – mandatory.
- Portuguese – native or fluent level.
