We are excited to present an opportunity to join our Vision Care team as a Business Development Representative. This role requires a dynamic and motivated individual who excels at connecting with the market, pursuing, and gaining new business, whilst developing partnerships with our customers within a team-oriented focus. This role requires essential qualities such as self-initiation, effective self-organisation, consistent follow-through, and a strong sense of urgency.
Experience in sales and product training, optical dispensing, orthoptics or optometry is advantageous. The ability to clearly communicate through all staff levels of our customers’ businesses is important. Working together with a strong team of customer service, professional development, marketing, and business support, you will be required to ensure our customers continue to receive the best solutions and support.
This full-time role is in field based, (not office based), requiring the BDR to be well organised in territory planning and implementation. Daily activities include travel within the territory, face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, and education sessions (including via phone, digital). Travel across Queensland and interstate is required, along with occasional extended hours and weekend events, such as trade shows.
