Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector Business Development organization has an opening for a Business Development Operations Analyst to work in Mclean, VA.
The position supports the DS Sector Global Operations team in a variety of ways including event management, maintaining and reporting pipeline activities in Salesforce, and providing other operations and integration project management duties.
- Develop dashboards, reports, charts, pivot table layouts, dashboard prompts to support sector requirements.
- Develop and coordinate training activities for sector BD teams
- Coordinate across divisions and corporate office on tradeshow staffing and associated attendance.
- Coordinate and manage team meetings and working groups; develop agendas and ensure actions are complete.
- Support International team efforts related to pipeline growth, strategy development, and customer engagement.
- Prepare presentation slides with project stake holders.
- Support development of executive-level presentations, meetings, and events.
- Liaise with corporate, sector, and division BD teams as applicable
- Performing other Operations & Integration duties upon request of the managers and directors.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university and 2+ years of related professional experience; Masters degree with 0 years of experience; and or 6 years professional experience in lieu of degree
- Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail, the ability to function independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team and across teams, with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience working with and preparing documents for executives
- Experience with international business
- Experience with Power BI (or other data visualization tools)
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry
- Knowledge of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
