About the Role

The Business Development Manager – Microsoft Surface is responsible for driving growth across Microsoft’s Commercial Surface portfolio.

You will work closely with key partners and Microsoft stakeholders to build strong customer relationships and deliver commercial outcomes. The role requires a blend of sales execution, market insight, and partner enablement to accelerate consumer demand and revenue growth.

Role Requirements

  • 3–6 years’ experience in consumer sales, retail, or channel management within the IT or technology sector
  • Strong understanding of consumer technology products (e.g. devices, software, accessories, gaming)
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through retail, e-commerce, or distribution partners
  • Experience managing key accounts and building joint business plans
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, promotions, and demand planning
  • Ability to analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive positioning
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven, agile, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced consumer environment
Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Microsoft’s Surface product portfolio across B2B and B2C channels
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key partners
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and internal teams to align on product launches, pricing, and go-to-market plans
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to ensure achievement of revenue targets
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share through new channels, partnerships, and customer segments
  • Leverage data and insights to optimise sales performance, inventory, and customer engagement
  • Support partner enablement through training, tools, and marketing initiatives
