What You Can Expect:
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve revenue and gross profit (GP) targets in line with the country sales budget.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with B & C customers, present tailored logistics solutions, and close deals.
- Deliver a high win rate on new business awards while maintaining strong GP margins.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer retention and account growth.
- Engage with decision-makers to understand business challenges and develop logistics solutions aligned with their strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Teams, Sales Channels, and Station Management to maximize customer value.
- Lead and manage regional and global tenders, acting as account owner in coordination with regional tender teams.
- Work with Country and Product Management to define competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
- Record all sales activities and client details accurately in the MS Dynamics CRM system.
- Identify and mitigate risks while securing business opportunities in the best interest of Rhenus A&O.
- Act as lead negotiator in client presentations and ensure successful deal closure.
- Coach and support junior team members to foster professional growth.
- Participate in training programs provided by Rhenus A&O to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, preferably with Air & Ocean expertise.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information and develop practical solutions.
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Strong client focus, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
- Willingness to travel within Korea and internationally as required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Korean language skills are highly preferred.
