Spreetail is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help drive profitable growth by building and closing strategic brand partnerships across ecommerce and marketplace channels. The BDM will manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from qualification through close, while developing strong relationships with brand decision makers and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful onboarding and long-term partnership success. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong financial and business acumen, and the ability to balance revenue growth with sustainable profitability.

How you will achieve success

  • Drive profitable GMV growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new brand partnerships aligned with Spreetail’s strategic goals.
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle, partnering with BDRs or self-sourcing leads while maintaining a healthy and accurate pipeline.
  • Build strong relationships with brand decision makers by delivering compelling, customized presentations and leading strategic conversations.
  • Use financial analysis and data-driven decision making to evaluate partnership opportunities, negotiate deal terms, and improve long-term profitability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Analytics, Vendor Management, and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful partnership launches.

What experiences will help you in this role

  • 3–5 years of business development, account executive, or similar closing experience with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Experience leading strategic meetings, presenting proposals, and negotiating with decision makers in a consultative sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of core financial metrics such as revenue, margin, profitability, and contribution impact.
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and work effectively within a structured sales process.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
