OUR OPPORTUNITY
We
are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our
footprint in the Saudi market. The role is suited for a senior individual
contributor or early people-manager who operates above mid-management, takes
strong ownership of revenue targets, and can independently manage strategic
accounts and partnerships.
The
ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in business development, sales, or
account management within banking, financial services, payments, embedded
finance, or fintech, and is comfortable selling software platforms and
technology-driven solutions. A technical background or strong technical
understanding is considered a strong advantage..
YOU WILL
Business Development & Sales:
» · Identify, target, and develop new business
opportunities with banks, fintechs, financial institutions, government
entities, and large enterprises in KSA
» · Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead
generation, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation,
and contract closure
» · Drive revenue growth across software products
and solution offerings (e.g., digital banking, payments, embedded finance,
platforms)
» Build and execute account plans to grow existing
clients and strategic partners
» Client & Account Management
» · Act as a trusted advisor to senior client
stakeholders, understanding both business and technical needs
» · Manage key accounts post-deal closure to
ensure long-term value, expansion opportunities, and customer satisfaction
» · Coordinate with delivery, product, and
technical teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and solution
delivery.
Market & Partner Engagement:
» Develop and maintain strong relationships with
local ecosystem players (banks, fintechs, regulators, partners, system
integrators)
» Monitor market trends in banking technology,
payments, and embedded finance to identify new opportunities
» Support partnership development initiatives
where relevant
» Ownership & Leadership:
» Demonstrate a high sense of ownership over
pipeline, targets, and outcomes
» Contribute to go-to-market strategy, pricing
discussions, and product positioning
» Represent the company professionally in client
meetings, events, and industry forums.
Requirements
Experience:
» 7–12+ years of experience in Business
Development, Sales, or Account Management
» · Strong background in one or more of the
following:
· Banking & Financial Services
· Payments & Cards
· Fintech / Embedded Finance
· Digital Banking or Financial Technology Solutions
» Proven track record of closing and managing
complex deals
» Experience selling software platforms,
technology solutions, or managed services is highly preferred
» Saudi market experience is mandatory
Skills & Competencies
» Excellent communication, negotiation, and
presentation skills
» Ability to engage confidently with senior
stakeholders (VPs, Heads of Department, Directors)
» Strong commercial acumen with the ability to
translate business needs into technology solutions
» High level of autonomy, accountability, and
ownership
» Strong planning, pipeline management, and
forecasting skills
Language Requirements
» · Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written)

» Technical Background (Advantage)
» · Prior experience as:
· Business Analyst
· Product Manager
· Technical Sales / Pre-Sales
· Software or Systems background
» Ability to understand APIs, platforms, and
digital architectures is a strong plus
Education
» Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering,
Computer Science, or a related field
» MBA or relevant professional certifications are
a plus
