We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our newly created carsales Trade-In team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for expanding and supporting our dealer network, partnering with some of the country’s leading new car dealership groups. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape the role and make a meaningful impact from day one.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers across all levels.
  • Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and business goals.
  • Provide strategic insights and analysis of dealer performance, identifying opportunities for growth and recommending solutions that drive ROI.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and reports that influence outcomes and showcase value.
  • Partner with internal teams to design and execute end-to-end client solutions.
  • Track all client activity through CRM tools and manage a disciplined sales pipeline.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, growth, and retention targets through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Support clients with ongoing product updates, training, and feature adoption to maximise engagement.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in account management and B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated history of sales success with consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and the automotive sector.
  • Understanding of digital media and advertising practices.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing abilities, taking a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Results-focused attitude and openness to adapting to change.
