POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Development Manager (BDM) New Zealand will focus on selling/acquiring new logo’s, generated in the assigned territory.
Identify prospects, and opportunities within New Logo accounts
Strong written and verbal communication skills including demonstrable presentation skills, negotiation skills and strong closing ability
Recent proven ability to achieve sales quotas in target market, with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to develop account sales plans and forecast accurate pipeline
Build close working relationships with leaders to drive activity and results
Work with honesty and transparency with colleagues and customers
Track all sales activity within the CRM system (D365), accuracy and hygiene is critical
Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service; understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts
Knowledge of assigned territory, connect with CIO/CISO levels to create and grow opportunities
Work with relevant Trend stakeholders (Pre-Sales, Marketing and Sales Head) to take the right value proposition to, Channel, C level and associated sales and technical teams
Communicate relevant information to stakeholders to facilitate decision making
Understand the MEDDPICC proccess, and apply this to all opportunities
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
Understanding of security frameworks like Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR and Security Platforms like SIEM and SOAR can be added advantage
Experience in speaking to customers about Cybersecurity, problems and solutions
Experience of working from customer needs and creating Plans that address these needs
Experience in deal shaping and maximizing the opportunity
Experience of shaping customer conversations/campaigns around main product/ topic
Experience of building business cases and understanding of buying criteria in the enterprise cloud space
Minimum 5 years of relevant selling Information/Cyber Security Services/Solutions with deep understanding of Cybersecurity
