POSITION SUMMARY

As a Business Development Manager at Dynata, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by introducing our cutting-edge data, services, and technology to prospects and re-engaging lapsed clients. You will consult with Consumer Insight Leaders and their stakeholders to craft and implement effective strategies that maximize the value of Dynata’s offerings. Additionally, you are responsible for meeting your individual revenue goals within the region.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Creating and executing a new business strategy and achieving your annual sales target.
  • Identifying, creating, and converting sales opportunities. Cold calls penetrating prospects or lapsed clients, embedding in research decision process, face-to-face visits with decision makers, and ensure diligent follow-up activity. 
  • Ensure the development and expansion of your customer relationships with a focus on the untapped potential. You do this by closing deals, up- and cross-selling and managing customer expectations. Determine the right strategy for pricing in consultation with the team.
  • Proactive and responsive day to day communication with clients and prospects.
  • Handling of incoming client requests.
  • Plan and track sales activities using the Company’s CRM tool.  Achieve quarterly and annual goals for assigned territory.  Provide annual, quarterly and monthly forecasts.
  • You are present at important events and ensure that you gain market knowledge and expand your network. Of course, you are aware of the latest news and developments in the market.

WHAT SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A highly motivated and driven sales professional with a relentless work ethic and a commitment to going the extra mile.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (and German for location Germany / and French for location France)
  • Ability to build relationships (from scratch) with potential new clients.
  • Show initiative and strong persuading skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding New Business goals.
  • Deep understanding of strategic and social selling principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  

ANY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. 
  • 2+ year proven experience in developing new business, preferably in the market research industry or corporate enterprises
