Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in leading the development and execution of new business opportunities within a specified region or across a designated product line/portfolio. This position is responsible for identifying potential markets and sectors, analyzing industry trends, and monitoring competitors to uncover new growth opportunities. In addition to securing new business, the manager will be tasked with maintaining and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and analysis of industry trends.
- Engage with potential and existing clients to build strong relationships and understand their needs.
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as necessary.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
