ROCKWOOL Japan is a subsidiary company of the ROCKWOOL International Group, the worlds largest STONEWOOL Insulation group. The unique properties of ROCKWOOLs stonewool insulation bring significant technical performance issues to a wide range of industries. ROCKWOOL Japan based on its first manufacturing base in Japan has extremely ambitious targets to grow the business and be a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire protection and insulation products throughout Japan. ROCKWOOL has made significant investments in Japan since 2021 and will continue to invest heavily over the next few years.
The ROCKWOOL group has world leading positions in many applications across a number of segments and industries. ROCWKOOL has a particularly strong global position in the building and construction segments, including appplications of steel fire protection, external insulation, roofing and facades.
The purpose f this position is to understand ROCKWOOLs world leading positions in these applications and help develop and introduce these applications to the Japanese market. Working closely with internal partners in operations, marketing and sales is vital, along with developing contacts and partners externally to support and develop these applications and support existing product offerings in these sectors.
