Greenvolt Next Poland is seeking a Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development & Prospecting: Identifies, develops, and approaches C&I clients across Poland with potential for distributed generation solutions, including rooftop solar, carports, energy storage, and energy efficiency projects.
· Sales Cycle Ownership: Manages the full commercial cycle, from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract signature, ensuring solutions are tailored to client energy consumption profiles and investment objectives (CAPEX, leasing, PPA and Energy-as-a-Service models).
· Negotiation & Contracting: Leads commercial and technical negotiations with C&I stakeholders, structuring and closing agreements for on-site renewable energy generation, storage, corporate PPAs, and other decarbonization solutions.
· Market & Regulatory Intelligence: Monitors the Polish DG and renewable energy market, including regulatory developments, grid access requirements, incentive schemes, and competitor activities, identifying new business opportunities and potential risks.
· Client Relationship Management: Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to support clients in achieving their energy transition, sustainability, and cost optimization objectives.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Works closely with engineering, project development, legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility, financial viability, regulatory compliance, and successful project execution.
· Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintains a robust sales pipeline within the CRM system, providing accurate forecasts, opportunity tracking, and regular reporting on commercial performance to management.
· Strategic Partnerships: Develops relationships with local industry associations, EPC partners, real estate owners, industrial groups, and other ecosystem stakeholders to expand Greenvolt Next's presence in the Polish C&I distributed generation market.
· Origination of DG Opportunities: Identifies and secures new DG project opportunities focused on self-consumption and behind-the-meter solutions, contributing to the growth of Greenvolt Next's portfolio in Poland.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance / Economics or Management
- 5+ years of experience in the green energy industry
- Advanced English;
- Advanced Excel and Office;
