MISSION OF THE POSITION

The Outside Sales Team will drive the sales effort by cultivating and building new business opportunities. In conjunction with Sales and Operations Management, this position will develop and execute a structured approach to provide innovative solutions, increase company revenue and deliver higher value solutions. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Analyze and identify potential growth areas within the boiler industry, including new market segments, geographic regions, or product/service offerings.
  2. Develop market entry strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company's presence in existing markets.
  3. Ensure that there are sufficient prospecting calls being made each week to identify new business opportunities with customers and prospects based on guidelines established by Willbanks.
  4. Perform updates within customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  5. Provide customer presentation development and delivery.
  6. Maintain a heavy focus on account acquisition.
  7. Identify and develop business opportunities in assigned Region and/or Market. 
  8. Maintain a full understanding of Willbanks’ solution portfolio.
  9. Provide feedback on market & competitive trends within assigned Region and/or Market.
  10. Ensure timely follow-up of quotes and opportunities with customers. 
  11. Prepare all necessary reports and forecasts in a timely & accurate manner, as requested by management.  
  12. Maintain a close working relationship with the Operational Management team. 
  13. Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes.
  14. Develop and execute sales action plans that deliver profitable growth according to the accepted business plan, with emphasis on achieving Willbanks’ revenue and margin targets.
  15. Update and maintain current customer information and sales activities in Willbanks’ CRM on a daily & weekly basis.
  16. Evaluate customer needs, understand market drivers and forces, and ensure appropriate service/product delivery and pricing.
  17. Upsell and Cross-sell Willbanks’ solution portfolio within assigned Region and/or Market.
  18. Provide support as the first contact for Willbanks Sales. 
  19. Coordinate with Sales Management and Operation teams.
  20. Represent Willbanks Group, Inc. at all trade shows, professional meetings and industry forums as deemed appropriate by Sales Management. 
  21. Perform all other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent industry related experience.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

  • N/A

EXPERIENCE

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience.
  • Business development or sales experience in the boiler, HVAC, plumbing, or other industry related experience a plus.
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) experience.
  • Knowledge of general mechanical concepts is a plus

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent industry-related experience
  • Three to five years of sales experience
  • Customer relationship management CRM experience
  • Business development or sales experience in the boiler, HVAC, plumbing, or related industry
  • Knowledge of general mechanical concepts
