Purpose
· The Local Business
Development Manager’s responsibilities include analysis of the local market and
related to clinical trials spheres to develop non-core activities in the
country, core-business development in compliance with global strategy,
coordination of project management and marketing activities within the country,
building the network and development of business relationships with key markets
players and organizations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Local BD Manager can be
divided into the development of core business and non-core business
opportunities creation.
- Service design and implementation,
Sales support:
• Identify, assess and select new non-core
services, such as commercial storage, commercial
transportation, humanitarian projects etc, to be implemented.
• Plan and implement the defined non-core
activities.
• Carry out project management activity within the defined scope of work, timeframes, and budget.
• Communicate and work with the global
Project Management and Operations to support proper service setups and level of
service delivery.
• Work with non-core clients: active
engagement, onboarding and managing of clients for non-core activities.
- Core business activities
coordination:
• Perform analysis of current Oximio
clients that are not working with us at the country level, create a strategy for approaching them and organize meetings for selling core services to them
• Close cooperation with KAMs in terms
of Client-approaching strategy and sharing information.
• Assisting KAMs with Global client
requests referred to the country.
• Taking part in investigating issues
the Client has in the country, which might have an impact on the relationship.
with Global Accounts
- BD activities coordination:
• Serve as the link of communication
and coordinate activities within Marketing, SS&A, PM, Sales, CS Teams and
Operations to progress in country business development in order to provide
customized total customer solution tailored to account needs.
• Report on periodic metrics reports
that highlight trends and assess performance against KPI’s.
• Contacting authorities relevant to
business launch and support.
• Develop trusted relationships with
key market players and organizations.
• Planning and supervision of the
marketing and sales events in alignment with global Commercial and Marketing
functions
- Team engagement:
• To engage not BD person to sell
Oximio services to potential clients
• Perform training for non-sales but
client-facing personnel within the country

Qualification and Experience
Qualification
• Master’s or bachelor's degree in
business management, sales, marketing, service delivery
• Experience in clinical trials
activities
• High proficiency in English
• In-depth knowledge of the
Clinical trials market
Experience
• Relevant, demonstrable previous
experience in a similar role
• Background working in a
pharmaceutical or logistics company
• Experience in
Life-science/Pharma/Logistics would be a plus
• Experience in direct communication
with (clinical trial) customers in a variety of tasks/activities
• Knowledge and experience in global,
multi-site, multi-cultural organizations desirable
• Experience in project/service
start-up
• Have experience in the full
project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to
implementation and ongoing support
