CxBuildr is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our client portfolio within the construction and fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction sales and business development, with a proven track record of securing and managing fit-out projects. Experience working with BPO clients and corporate accounts is highly preferred.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial construction and fit-out sector.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, projects, and strategic partnerships.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and market research.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, project pitches, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, property developers, facility managers, procurement teams, and BPO stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client project requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities within the construction and fit-out industry.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and brand presence.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding business growth opportunities.
- Work closely with estimating, design, operations, and project management teams during the bid and project acquisition process.
- Support project handover activities to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution.
- Participate in project review meetings and maintain visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the construction, fit-out, or interior design industry.
- Demonstrated success in securing commercial construction and fit-out projects.
- Strong network within the construction industry and corporate sector.
- Experience working with BPO clients, corporate offices, and workplace fit-out projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
