Job Description

Provides specialist knowledge and executes account development strategies and sales business plans in order to achieve large-sized sales targets.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will include:

•Managing all contracted client deliveries relevant to each product line of the Corporate Business, including Group Risk Assurance, Investment portfolios and annuity structures.
•Managing client relationships proactively.
•Interpret fund fact sheets, investment manager performance reports and market commentary to advise clients on portfolio suitability.
•Providing alternative solutions and ensuring cross selling of products takes place.
•Managing a portfolio of existing clients and recommending enhanced products to suit clients’ needs.
•Conducting presentations to clients.
•Managing the sales pipeline and is responsible for the delivery of the new business sales targets as contracted.
•Responsible for the retention of existing clients, including renewal negotiations and competitor benchmarking.
•Reviewing client product portfolio regularly.
•Be the product owner for some of the corporate range of products. including liaison with actuarial, investment and legal stakeholders on product design.
•Keep abreast of Namibian pension fund legislation and broader investment market developments relevant to client portfolios.

The successful applicant should substantially meet the following requirements:

•Namibian Citizen
•B. Degree in Economics, Finance, Investment Management or Business Studies, plus 3 years' sales experience in pension fund/investment industry.
•A Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning/CFP or progress towards a CFA designation (Level I) would be an added advantage
•Solid working knowledge of investment concepts and annuity structures.
•An assertive self-starter with excellent organizing skills, with the ability to translate investment concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
•Good communication and presentation skills
•Well organized and attention to detail
•Excellent conflict handling skills
