Kramp is Europe's leading supplier of parts, accessories, and services for the agricultural industry. Although many people know us for our products and logistics network, we're also a highly digital and data-driven company. We're currently going through an exciting transformation, with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and creating the best possible customer experience for our customers across Europe.
As part of this transformation, Kramp recently introduced a new operating model, with Omnichannel becoming a key strategic focus. The goal is to create a seamless customer experience across all digital channels and customer touchpoints.
To support this ambition, we are looking for a Business Development Manager who will help shape this journey.
Your Role
In this role, you will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable business plans by working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. You will lead initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment between business requirements, strategic priorities, and successful execution.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, excels at stakeholder management, and wants to make a visible impact across Kramp.
Develop business cases, including for large-scale, complex, or contentious projects, and make evidence-based recommendations to inform decision making about development opportunities.
Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
Identify and appraise development opportunities to ensure new developments are viable and feasible.
Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts that are within span of control at this level.
Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
Manage relationships with strategic internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and mobilizing appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Manage a portfolio of major projects in line with overall project management strategy.
Manage the production of project and workstream plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized and resourced to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project and program management framework.
Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions.
Who are you?
Master's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 6 years of experience in business development, program management, strategy consulting, or a similar role in a complex and fast-moving environment.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a data- and technology-driven mindset and the ability to turn insights into practical business actions.
Experience leading complex initiatives and working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and C-suite executives.
Able to combine big-picture thinking with a hands-on approach, manage competing priorities, navigate uncertainty, and deliver results.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with experience working across teams and supporting the development of less experienced colleagues.
Comfortable traveling regularly between our Utrecht office and Kramp headquarters in Varsseveld, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
