Working closely with clinical, sales and operational colleagues, the successful candidate will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers, helping to improve patient outcomes, strengthen pathways and deliver sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

Strategic key account development

  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-value NHS and private Key Accounts across the region, with clear plans for revenue, margin, share of wallet and product penetration.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder blueprints across clinical and non-clinical decision makers, including consultants, physiotherapists, orthotists, procurement, finance and ICB/ICS representatives.
  • Lead commercial conversations in strategic accounts, identifying opportunities to expand Enovis’ footprint across the orthopaedic continuum of care.
  • Defend existing business while identifying and converting competitor accounts through a consultative, evidence-led approach.

NHS, ICB and ICS channel development

  • Develop commercial opportunities across local NHS Trusts, ICBs and ICSs, aligning activity with local priorities, care pathways and procurement structures.
  • Identify and progress product opportunities and business cases in line with Enovis’ portfolio strategy and National Pricing Matrix.
  • Position Enovis as a trusted partner in service redesign, pathway optimisation and value-based healthcare conversations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support tender activity, pricing discussions and implementation plans where relevant.

Independent hospital and private sector growth

  • Build strong relationships across independent hospitals, private providers and specialist clinics to increase Enovis’ presence, volume and portfolio penetration.
  • Secure new business and grow existing partnerships through targeted account development, tailored value propositions and strong follow-through.
  • Identify opportunities to convert competitor business and deepen adoption across key sites and groups.

Orthotic and specialist partner management

  • Manage key orthotic channels and specialist partners, including the development of OA and ligament bracing opportunities within their clinics and contracts.
  • Develop joint business plans that support portfolio expansion, education and sustainable commercial growth.
  • Monitor performance and pipeline activity, making proactive interventions where required to protect and grow the account base.

Commercial excellence and performance management

  • Build and maintain a high-quality CRM pipeline, with accurate forecasting, clear deal stages and disciplined follow-up.
  • Use sales data, market intelligence and account performance to prioritise time and focus on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Support regional planning, budgeting and cross-functional activity to ensure commercial activity is aligned with business priorities.
  • Act as a senior commercial contributor, supporting territory reviews, pipeline reviews and broader business planning activity.

Customer engagement and ways of working

  • Spend the majority of time in the field, with a strong emphasis on high-impact customer engagement and opportunity conversion.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor, bringing a strong understanding of Enovis’ bracing and support portfolio, competitor products and the clinical environment.
  • Deliver education, workshops, in-service training and business meetings, including out-of-hours activity where needed to support customer engagement.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a strong customer-first mindset in all interactions.

Experience and competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, life sciences or a related field.
  • Typically 3–5+ years’ successful sales experience in medical devices, orthopaedics or a related healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record in both key account development and new business acquisition, with strong commercial results.
  • Good understanding of the NHS, ICS/ICB structures and private healthcare environment, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong territory management, business planning, CRM discipline and sales reporting capability.
  • Confident communicator with excellent influencing, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Southern England.

Personal attributes

  • Commercially minded, resilient and proactive.
  • Able to balance strategic account growth with wider territory development.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Highly organised, with strong prioritisation and follow-through.
  • Ethical, credible and committed to improving patient outcomes through better healthcare solutions.
