About the role.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, Sysco North America, this role is responsible for driving the development and execution of McCain's business plans with Sysco-a high-priority customer-to maximize profitable growth across our foodservice portfolio of potato and appetizer products. You will lead performance delivery at the market level, activate plans in collaboration with McCain field sales, engage with Sysco stakeholders across market, regional, and corporate levels, and ensure alignment with McCain Selling System (MSS) principles to achieve shared growth objectives.
What you'll be doing.
  • Develop and execute business plans to consistently deliver volume, net sales, and annual KPI targets
  • Align cross-functional efforts across McCain Field Sales, Category Management, Customer Marketing, and Sysco stakeholders
  • Build and manage annual sales budgets to meet McCain's Annual Operating Commitment (AOC) and cascade targets across the sales organization
  • Drive high-performance sales execution across all Sysco markets to exceed expectations
  • Lead and manage broker relationships at market, regional, and local levels with clear priorities and target customer lists
  • Activate growth strategies using both corporate and local Sysco relationships alongside internal cross-functional teams
  • Manage trade spend as well as travel and expense budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with plans
  • Partner with Field Sales Directors and Managers to identify and develop white space opportunities across the U.S. market
  • Serve as a principled leader, modeling collaboration, integrity, and ethical business practices on behalf of McCain and Sysco
  • Support the Head of Sales, Sysco NA on corporate and market-level initiatives as required

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required
  • 5-10+ years of foodservice sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry; Sysco experience preferred
  • Experience in broker management and distribution is an asset
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and sound judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally at all levels
  • Experience managing or leading a team preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with McCain systems is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across a large geographic territory
  • Valid driver's license and openness to overnight travel as required; 25-30% travel
  • Must live within the territory: Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas or Chicago.

Compensation Package: Starting at $xx.xx USD hourly + bonus eligibility + hourly pay differential for applicable shifts
