Job DescriptionYou develop LACROIX’s smart grids and smart lighting business in Belgium and the Netherlands, positioning the company early in projects, influencing specifications and securing long‑term opportunities.
Missions :
- Build and manage relationships with utilities, integrators and partners,
- Influence prescription and technical specifications upstream,
- Initiate pilots, tests and proof‑of‑concepts with customers,
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities,
- Act as a bridge between customers, marketing and product teams.
Role Specificities :
- Location: Belgium or the Netherlands,
- Strong focus on smart grids; smart lighting as a complementary market,
- Projects strongly influenced by EU regulations (including cybersecurity),
- Combination of hunting and long sales cycles.
Team / Interactions :
- Reporting to the International Sales Manager,
- Daily collaboration with smart lighting, smart water and presales teams,
- Regular coordination with product management and logistics.
The profile we are looking for :
Must-have :
- Experience in smart grids or public energy infrastructure sales,
- Ability to navigate complex, regulated environments,
- Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills,
- Fluent Dutch (or Flemish), French and English.
