Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth and expand the active merchant portfolio in the hospitality sector
  • Lead merchant acquisition, onboarding, and optimization across acquiring platforms and payment gateways
  • Mobilize deposits from hospitality merchants to support business growth
  • Deliver exceptional merchant service, training, and relationship management
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with hotels, restaurants, and travel & tourism businesses
  • Uphold high service standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and seamless service delivery
  • Drive team capability development and performance improvement
  • Execute strategic business initiatives, projects, and marketing campaigns
  • Proactively manage merchant risk, compliance, and sector exposures

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university 
  • Professional qualifications in Banking or Management (Advantageous)
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) (Added Advantage)

Experience & Expertise:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking
  • At least 1 year in retail banking or merchant acquiring environments
  • Demonstrated experience in: 
    • Sales, marketing, and relationship management (2+ years)
    • Banking operations and IT/systems exposure (2+ years – banking experience required)
    • Card operations and payment schemes (Visa, MasterCard, UPI, Kenswitch) (4+ years)

Prior experience within the hospitality sector (hotels, restaurants, travel & tours) is a strong advantage
