Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Sales prospecting (90%) and account management (10%) while you build the territory

·         Identify and develop new market opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance

·         Develop customized proposals in response to government RFPs and create tailored proposals for private sector businesses as needed

·         Prepare or oversee the preparation of service contracts and consult with customers post-sale to resolve issues and provide continuous support

·         Attend industry trade shows conferences and events

·         Maintain business relationships with existing customers and maximize sales

·         Liaised with decision makers and multiple decision makers



Benefits

Compensation:

We anticipate offering the successful candidate in and around 75,000 USD plus the opportunity to earn significant commissions and/or performance incentives.  

Excellent benefits package which includes a monthly car allowance as well as an extended health and dental package. 



Skills Required

  • Proven track record in new business development and territory building
  • Significant outside sales experience and ability to manage long or short sales cycles
  • Experience qualifying opportunities, managing a forecast and pipeline, and closing deals
  • Experience preparing customized proposals and responding to government RFPs
  • Experience with consultative selling, objection handling, and reaching decision makers
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Experience using a CRM to track prospects and manage pipeline
  • Strong oral and written communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent documentation, follow-through, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to attend industry trade shows, conferences and engage in in-person prospecting
