Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager drives strategic growth and new business opportunities within the rapidly expanding data center liquid cooling market and emerging industrial applications. This role serves as the commercial and technical expert for advanced filtration and liquid cooling solutions, partnering with customers to improve thermal performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Qualified candidates must be able to work a remote schedule.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute growth strategies for liquid cooling filtration solutions within data centers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with hyperscale operators and other key customers.
Build relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, sustainability, and executive stakeholders to drive specification opportunities and early engagement in new facility designs and infrastructure upgrades.
Establish strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and engineering firms while developing long-term account growth plans.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the subject matter expert for liquid cooling filtration technologies, providing technical consultation on direct-to-chip cooling, immersion cooling, coolant filtration systems, closed-loop cooling systems, CDU filtration, and glycol and dielectric fluid filtration.
Evaluate customer cooling architectures and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency while supporting technology evaluations, pilot projects, and proof-of-concept testing.
Data Center Market Development
Drive growth opportunities across AI infrastructure deployments, hyperscale data centers, and next-generation cooling technologies.
Industry Engagement
Lead technical presentations and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
Travel: Up to 60%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, application engineering, or market development
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to sell engineered solutions with long and complex sales cycles.
Experience engaging technical and executive decision-makers.
Strong financial and business acumen with experience developing ROI-driven proposals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Annual Salary Range: $100,000-130,000. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, applicable work experience, training, education, and performance. Based on work location, geographic adjustment is included.
This position is eligible for sales incentive or commission plan, based on sales targets under company policy.
