The Role

Bring your energy to Aggreko Strategic Business Development Manager - Petrochemicals & Refineries (PCR) who identifies new business opportunities and builds relationships to grow Aggreko's presence in untapped markets and customer segments. Singapore cluster includes Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, covering multiple sectors in these regions.

You will drive future revenue growth by finding new market opportunities (70%) and managing select high-value deals (30%). Build relationships with key decision-makers, develop market entry strategies, and create qualified opportunities for the sales team. Handle complex proposals while establishing Aggreko's credibility in new sectors.

What you’ll do as Business Development Manager - Petrochemicals & Refineries (PCR):

  • Identify and research new market opportunities and customer segments

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Create market entry strategies for new sectors or territories

  • Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals

  • Qualify opportunities and hand off to appropriate sales teams

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and market intelligence

  • Build deep relationships with C-level executives in target accounts

  • Become trusted advisor understanding client business challenges

  • Identify multiple opportunities within strategic accounts

  • Grow share of business within existing key accounts

  • Navigate complex stakeholder organizations

You are:

  • Proven track record in business development or strategic sales with consistent target achievement (5+ years)

  • Success in opening new markets or building new business relationships

  • Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and proposal development

  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases

  • Experience building relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders

  • Success growing business and share of wallet within existing strategic accounts

  • Background in account management, consulting, or client-focused solution development

  • History of navigating complex stakeholder organizations
