About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager based in Auckland to join our national OEM sales team. You will be accountable for expanding our market presence by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships within the aluminium fabricator and associated market sectors. You will be responsible for assigned territories across Auckland and regional areas around New Zealand, requiring approximately five days of travel per month.

What you will bring

  • Industry Experience: Minimum five years’ experience and established relationships within the aluminium fabricator market.
  • Sales Business Development: Expert-level skills in product sales and strategic account management, working closely with business owners and senior customer contacts.
  • Business Acumen: Strong financial literacy with the ability to translate complex customer needs into organised business plans that drive revenue and margin.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Technical Affinity: Strong aptitude for mechanical and electronic products, specifically those used by aluminium fabricators and door manufacturers.
  • Educational Background: A tertiary qualification in business or a related field is preferred.
