THE ROLE:
In this pivotal role, you’ll drive new business within the MQ/National Accounts market, focusing on expanding our client base and strategically growing our book of business. You’ll immediately take ownership of an existing customer portfolio, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure performance targets and customer satisfaction are consistently met. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of how various departments and committees interact within complex healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and improve profitability.
  • Build relationships with new clients and expand the national account portfolio.
  • Use Salesforce to manage leads and track sales activities.
  • Travel as needed to meet with prospects and strengthen client connections.
  • Present our products and services clearly to decision-makers.
  • Create proposals that highlight our value and competitive edge.
  • Work with the commercial team on contracts and lead negotiations.
  • Research market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Support existing accounts with upsell opportunities.
  • Report on performance and collaborate with leadership to improve results.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategies
  • Strong conflict resolution capabilities
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Hospital services or related service industry experience highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses self-motivation and the ability to motivate a team
  • Strong presentation skills with value based selling confidence
  • Outstanding computer-based skills; Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, etc.
