THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager, Music & Entertainment to help grow Tradable Bits’ presence across the global music and live entertainment industry. Reporting into sales leadership, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing new partnerships with promoters, festivals, venues, labels, and entertainment brands.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring Tradable Bits is recognized as the leading fan-based marketing technology in music and entertainment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on networking, collaboration, and ownership and who wants to work closely with some of the biggest brands in live events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Identify sales channels and opportunities to grow our presence in music and entertainment
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners across all stages of the sales cycle
  • Identify, structure, negotiate, amend, close, and manage strategic deals
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations
  • Work closely with Customer Success on projects including new digital innovations and platform integrations
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to scope and support new feature releases
  • Represent Tradable Bits at industry events, conferences, festivals, and meetings, sharing market intelligence internally
  • Help partners develop creative ideas and strategies that leverage the Tradable Bits platform
  • Quickly master our platform and provide data-backed recommendations for optimization and improvement
  • Stay informed on trends and developments across music, live entertainment, and marketing technology
  • Maintain accurate records in sales tools to track KPIs, performance, and forecasting


MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1+ year of business development or sales experience, including corporate partnerships, agency, or SaaS sales
  • 3+ years of experience working in the music or entertainment industry (promoter, label, artist management, music marketing, ticketing, or music technology)
  • Existing network within the music and entertainment industry that you actively leverage
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and execute strategic growth plans
  • Passionate networker who enjoys meeting new people and building long-term relationships
  • Compelling storyteller with strong presentation creation and delivery skills
  • Excellent communicator with confidence, tact, and a sense of humor
  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners
  • Product-savvy, with a solid understanding of digital marketing, fan data, and technology trends
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Strong negotiation skills, including experience working with contracts and legal stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player who genuinely cares about the company’s overall success

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep understanding of the music business, including labels, promoters, venues, festivals, and artist management 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Business, Economics, Science, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated success managing partnerships with large organizations and navigating complex business challenges
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
