Position Overview

dwp. is seeking a highly driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead business development activities within the Indonesia market. The role will focus on building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, establishing strategic relationships, and driving conversion of projects and partnerships.

This role is not limited to candidates from architecture or interior design backgrounds. The primary requirement is proven success in business development, sales growth, pipeline generation, and client acquisition in the Indonesia market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Identify and establish relationships with developers, design consultants, hotel operators, asset owners, and strategic partners.
  • Generate and manage a structured sales pipeline with measurable conversion targets.
  • Lead business development initiatives from prospecting through negotiation and project award stages.
  • Coordinate closely with the management team on strategy, reporting, and opportunity execution.
  • Conduct market research and identify emerging sectors, trends, and potential clients.
  • Expand dwp.’s visibility and positioning within priority markets.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions representing the company.
  • Prepare business development reports, pipeline updates, and market intelligence summaries.
  • Support strategic partnerships and long-term client relationship development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, client acquisition, or strategic partnerships in Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated success in building and converting high-value business pipelines in Indonesia.
  • Professional-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong commercial mindset with ability to independently drive opportunities and relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong professional network within relevant industries is mandatory.
    Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with regional management team.
    Must currently possess legal authorization to work in Indonesia without requiring company sponsorship, visa sponsorship, or work permit support.
