We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships, government relations, project acquisition, and business expansion opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with government agencies, tourism authorities, trade promotion organizations, and related stakeholders. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, participating in bidding/tender processes, building strategic partnerships, and bringing in new projects for the company.
The candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate both public and private sector environments effectively.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, tourism authorities, trade promotion organizations, associations, and corporate partners.
- Actively seek and secure new projects, tenders, and cooperation opportunities.
- Represent the company in meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry activities.
- Develop market expansion strategies and support long-term business growth.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with relevant government departments and public sector stakeholders.
- Monitor government policies, regulations, and market developments that may impact business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and government procedures.
- Support partnership negotiations, MOUs, and collaboration agreements.
- Lead or coordinate bidding and tender submission processes.
- Work closely with internal departments to prepare project proposals, presentations, and required documentation.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of tender opportunities.
- Track project pipelines and maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, partnership progress, and project pipelines.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Recommend strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s market position.
RequirementsRequirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Tourism, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Government Relations, Partnership Development, or Project Acquisition.
- Strong network and established relationships with government agencies, tourism authorities, trade promotion organizations, or related stakeholders.
- Experience participating in tenders, bidding processes, or public/private partnership projects is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships.
- Good understanding of government procedures and business development processes.
- Fluent Vietnamese and good English communication skills.
- Proactive, strategic-thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with tourism, visa, hospitality, aviation, education, or service-related industries.
- Experience managing large-scale partnership or government-related projects.
- Existing network within tourism promotion agencies, embassies, trade associations, or government departments is a strong advantage
