Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our expense management Vertical within the Wise Platform team in North America. In this role, you will help deliver world-class API payment solutions to banks powered by Wise’s cutting-edge infrastructure. 

Your primary focus will be bringing on new partners and enterprise clients, leveraging your skills in consultative selling, pitching complex API/embedded financial solutions, and navigating deal cycles to set up our partnerships for long-term success.

Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing 

● Full-Cycle Sales Management: Owning the end-to-end sales cycle and territory management from prospecting and solution discovery to negotiation and closing in expense management and Bill Pay space. 

● Revenue & Partner Growth: Holding accountability for driving target revenue, acquiring new partners, and expanding Wise Platform's market footprint. ● Industry Representation: Representing Wise Platform at strategic client meetings, executive pitches, and key industry events. 

● Sales Excellence: Maintaining accurate CRM pipeline tracking, accurate forecasting, and clear deal visibility. 

What You Bring 

● Closing Experience: 4+ years selling complex technology solutions to enterprise accounts, with at least 1+ years in a closing capacity selling API infrastructure, enterprise fintech, embedded finance, or complex B2B SaaS solutions. 

● Proven Track Record: Consistent history of top performance against quota and revenue targets. 

● Technical Acumen: Ability to understand complex technical requirements (APIs, payment rails) and craft tailored solutions for business stakeholders and technical teams. 

● Territory Execution: A strategic approach to territory planning, lead generation, and pipeline conversion. 

● Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across North America as needed for executive presentations, partner meetings, and industry conferences. 

● Executive Presence: Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly in pitching to and negotiating with CXO-level stakeholders. 

● Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
