Smartbox is seeking a driven and creative Business Development Manager to join our Contracting team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of growing our network of partners, representing Smartbox to leading hotels, restaurants, activity providers, and wellness venues. Your mission: secure exciting partnerships that enhance our experience boxes and delight our customers.

This is a dynamic, client-facing role that combines market research, outreach, sales, negotiation, and contract management. You’ll be equally comfortable picking up the phone to spark interest, meeting potential partners in person, and delivering compelling presentations that showcase the value of working with Smartbox.

Responsabilities:

· Research and analyze the market to identify potential partners and opportunities.

· Conduct outreach via telephone and in-person meetings to build strong pipelines.

· Present Smartbox to hotels, restaurants, activities, and wellness providers with confidence and enthusiasm.

· Generate leads, nurture prospects, and close new business partnerships.

· Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize deal value while ensuring long-term collaboration.

· Prepare and manage contracts from start to finish.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce.

· Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry insights.

· Identify market gaps and develop creative strategies to capitalize on them.

· Deliver tailored sales presentations that effectively communicate Smartbox’s value proposition.

· Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners.

Requirements:

· 2-3 years in the hotel, travel, or experience industry is highly desirable.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

· Fluent level of English and Spanish, other languages are a plus!

· Confortable with telephone sales and proactive outreach.

· Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· A hunter mentality with persistence and initiative in securing new business.

· Strong relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.

· Analytical thinker with a structured, solutions-oriented approach.

· A true team player, but also able to work independently.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.

· 2-3 years’ experience in the hotel, travel, or experience industry is highly desirable.

· Flexible, stress-resistant, and adaptable to change.

· Motivated by sales success and eager to contribute to business growth.

· Previous sales experience is essential, but your commitment and drive matter most.
