The Enterprise Business Development Manager focuses on acquiring new customers and closing large deals across various verticals. Your task is to identify new opportunities, quantify their value, prepare pricing proposals, coordinate demos, participate in negotiations, and ensure the successful completion of business cases.Job description
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for searching for, identifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities.
- Identify new customers (500+ endpoints).
- Use lead-generation tools such as local CRM systems, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
- Participate in sales, business, and technical training to increase awareness of ESET products and services.
- Apply a "hunter strategy" focused on acquiring customers and business partnerships.
- Search for and participate in RFPs.
- Closely cooperate with LVARs and VARs to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Consistently deliver the value proposition of ESET enterprise solutions.
- Meet monthly new-sales targets.
- Enter and track all opportunity and customer details in CRM (Salesforce).
- Use available prospecting tools to generate new opportunities.
- Maintain excellent business relationships with customers, partners, and various internal teams across ESET branches.
- Provide detailed information about ESET’s product portfolio.
- Contribute inputs to the business development planning process.
- Provide accurate forecasts and long-term sales outlooks.
- Coordinate sales activities across multifunctional teams (Inside Sales, Channel Sales, Pre-Sales, etc.).
- Manage business cases on a global scale when required.
- Travel, present, and work with prospective customers.
What qualifications and skills will be useful in this position?
- Completed bachelor’s degree (Bc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than 7 years of professional experience in strategic sales and working with large customers.
- More than 5 years of experience in IT security.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Previous sales experience; preferably in Telco, manufacturing, public sector, banking, or utilities.
- Deep knowledge of the computer security field.
- Competence and knowledge of the RFI/RFP process.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is an advantage.
- Global work experience is an advantage.
- Existing contacts with VARs and LVARs offering cybersecurity solutions.
- Intermediate mathematical skills: ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, ratios, and percentages.
- High level of PC proficiency.
- Language skills: Danish/Swedish – native speaker. English at a minimum B2 level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-oriented approach and ability to build relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to take risks and try innovative, new approaches.
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- High level of interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
