We are expanding our Business Development Team in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), and we are now looking for a Business Development Manager EMEA.

In this role, you will be part of a senior team that consists of five Business Development Managers reporting to the Director of Business Development EMEA. We are offering you a broad and dynamic role in which you will drive growth for Axis in EMEA!   

WHAT IS THE SCOPE?
Your focus will be looking outside traditional security on the solution areas safety, operational efficiency and business intelligence. You will position Axis’s portfolio in the evolving digital transformation space where our cloud offering, analytics and IOT related offerings are natural parts.

Initially we see that you will be looking at the above thru the lens of smart manufacturing and industry, but as we evolve you will most likely explore other segments and customer needs. You will be responsible for market analysis and to convert your findings into value adding technical offerings, addressing Axis’s total portfolio or to make minor modifications and developments.

In addition to adding value thru knowledge, you will be also focus on activating your knowledge with the EMEA regions. This involves development of different types of assets (e.g. presentations, marketing material, training) mentoring and coaching the sales teams and transferring knowledge based on identified needs.

Another part of your role will be to support the regions in building and nurturing relationships with system integrators and technical Partners (TIPs) to drive business growth in the Digital Transformation space. You will also be directly involved with partners and end customers in EMEA to co-create solutions supporting and realizing digital transformation.

Lastly, you will drive a dialogue, based on market and partner input, with our solution and alliances department on possible future developments of the Axis offering.

WHERE WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
With a strong business acumen and a scalable, innovative approach, you would be influencing, guiding and most of all adding value to a team of diverse professionals across departments and geographies. Your sphere of influence and need for alignment would be across all EMEA regions and almost all business functions such as marketing, sales, finance and products and portfolio as well as with global and the other head regions.

This is an international role and travel within EMEA and to Lund will be considered a natural part of the job. We would like you to be based near one of our offices in EMEA: Czechia – Prague, England – Luton; France – Paris, Germany – Munich (Ismaning); Italy – Milan; Netherlands – Rotterdam; Poland – Warsaw; Spain – Madrid; Sweden – Lund. The position is hybrid.  

You actively seek opportunities to co-create solutions with end-customers or embedded partners on the topic of digital transformation. You are influencing Axis's audiences with relevant posts or speeches promoting Axis’s innovative solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Comfort, flexibility, and resilience in working within an incubation area, new businesses, and new initiatives
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a focus on technology solutions (preferably in digital transformation, cloud, or software sales)
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation technologies and their impact on business operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, you are a storyteller with the ability to engage and influence
  • Motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who is able to deep dive into new areas and conceptualize and then share with a wider audience always looking at ways to build new business from new technology and to create results
  • Strong consultative approach, with the ability to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Ability to prioritize well and manage time and activities in an organized and structured way (ensuring efficiency of your time/travel)
  • A good level of technical proficiency to be part of shootouts, proof of concepts, pilots etc.
  • Ability to convey complex technologies and solutions easily
