As a Business Development Manager for East Africa Operations at Inlaks, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and driving business growth in the region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis: You will be responsible for conducting thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitors in East Africa and thus provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Business Strategy: You will develop and execute tailored business development strategies to penetrate markets effectively and achieve revenue growth objectives.
Client Engagement: You are expected to cultivate strong client relationships, both existing and new, through targeted outreach, effective communication, and proactive relationship management.
Proposal Development: You will lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and sales collateral to address client needs and drive successful deal closures.
Negotiation and Contract Management: You will be responsible for negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring the successful execution of contracts while adhering to company policies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: You will ensure close collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualifications:
You should bring a strong track record of progressive experience and success in business development, sales, or account management roles within the IT or related industry. This will be crucial in the management of Inlaks' developed solutions as well as that of new partners.
Exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking skills are needed to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Outstanding leadership and people management skills are essential, empowering them to lead cross-functional teams and inspire them to achieve business objectives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must, facilitating the building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred), supplemented by a strong foundation in IT.
