To join our vibrant team in the Netherlands. You will take ownership of the development and growth of our business in the Dutch market by developing and implementing winning strategic sales plans. The role reports to the Country Manager and Regional Division Manager
You will have the opportunity to work with comprehensive telecom and multi-media solutions for high-speed data transmission, broadband networks, and telecommunications infrastructure, and represent brands such as Draka/Prysmian, known for innovative fiber optic solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets in the telecom and data cable sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, tenders, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer projects.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Prepares the annual Management Plan in close cooperation with the MMS and Telecom Solutions team and the Commercial Directors.
- Take full responsibility for the development and growth of the telecom business in the Netherlands.
- Work within a matrix organization, in close collaboration with the Telecom team, reporting to the Commercial Sales Director and the Regional Business Unit Manager for Telecom and MMS.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the telecom industry.
- We value knowledge in datacom (copper, fiber, connectivity) and data center product range, market, and business.
- Network in the data center market is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams and take initiative.
- Ability to build relationships in a complex environment across countries, cultures, functions, and levels to achieve business objectives. Takes and shows leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other relevant commercial software packages (like Salesforce) is a benefit.
- Willingness to travel within the Netherlands as required.
