Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, for RI related activities need to report to Head of Channel Partnership. Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) is a sales acquisition responsible for acquiring new-to-bank customers via an external and internal partnership which subsequently creates cross-selling opportunities by other business units to maximize revenue for the Bank in an affluent market segment.
Main Responsibilities:
Any regulated activities that required RI Licenses which will be handled by the upper dotted line reporting to Head of Channel Partnership. Strategic goals - To align with the Bank’s goal in expanding the customer base for Premier Banking and Premium Financing NTB for further cross-selling opportunities by proactively collaborating with both internal and external partners. To build a strong network of referral sources for new-to-bank customers via external partnership not limited to insurance companies, corporate secretaries, etc. To collaborate closely with key internal business partners (Wholesale Banking/Commercial Banking) to solicit qualify referrals. To acquire Premium Financing business by working proactively with insurance companies (agency and brokers level) from briefing sessions, incoming enquiries, premium loan applications to loan draw down completion. To meet the acquisition target by referring business to branches and for cross-selling opportunities.
Academic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree holder of any discipline
Associateship / Membership :
Professional Qualifications : Licensed insurance TR (paper 1 and 3)
(e.g. CPA, HKSI, IIQE, etc.)
Working Experience : 10+ years of working experience in sales acquisition for high net-worth customers
