About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Field Sales team, taking ownership of a defined territory across Canberra and Wagga Wagga.

This role combines account management and new business development, with responsibility for growing an existing customer base while identifying and converting new opportunities. You will work across a mix of retail and on-premise customers, including multi-site operators, building strong partnerships and delivering commercial outcomes through execution, influence, and insight.

Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will run your territory as your own business, supported by a portfolio of leading premium brands and a collaborative, high-performing team.

This territory is strategically important within Diageo’s NSW and South Australia region, offering strong growth potential across a broad and evolving regional market. With a large geographic footprint, it spans established accounts and emerging venues, particularly in Wagga Wagga, where a growing hospitality scene presents significant opportunity.

Success in this role will involve strengthening customer partnerships, unlocking new growth opportunities, and expanding Diageo’s presence and relevance across key regional communities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of your territory, shaping plans and priorities to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Create meaningful impact by building long-term partnerships that unlock value for both customers and Diageo.
  • Own opportunities end-to-end - from identifying potential through to execution and delivery of results.
  • Use data, insight and judgement to make smart commercial decisions that grow revenue, distribution and share.
  • Deliver high-quality execution that brings our brands to life and drives performance in market.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • A track record of taking ownership and delivering outcomes end-to-end
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders
  • Experience identifying opportunities and turning them into measurable results
  • Confidence using data, insights or judgement to inform decisions
  • Strong prioritisation skills, focusing effort where it drives the greatest impact
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-moving or changing environments

Flexible Working:
