Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to support growth across the APAC region. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales and business strategies to expand market share for focused products, services, and solutions within the hospital and EMS segments.

Working closely with regional sales leaders, distributors, and global product management teams, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on sales execution across assigned territories.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and business plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion across APAC

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and budget objectives while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, including managing RFIs, tenders, and procurement processes

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital, EMS, and key healthcare stakeholders across the region

  • Partner with regional sales teams and distributors to drive market penetration and expand market share

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities

  • Support product management activities, including product positioning, lifecycle management, and alignment with regional market needs

  • Deliver impactful sales presentations, support product evaluations, and implement customer training and education programs

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and pre-/post-sales support

  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), while ensuring timely and structured reporting

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical, business, or scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development within the healthcare or medical device industry

  • Experience in hospital or EMS environments, or with capital equipment, is highly advantageous

  • Strong understanding of regional procurement and tender processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong professional presence with excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse markets

  • Ability to understand and communicate clinical and technical information effectively

  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
