Manages the dealership’s Business Development Center and BDR team to achieve sales forecasts, appointment targets, customer follow-up standards, and financial goals. Oversees sales inquiries, reporting, advertising ROI, expenses, performance metrics, recruitment, training, and team motivation while maintaining effective coordination with dealership sales and service departments.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure sales forecasts are achieved according to the agreed quarterly forecasts
- Manage BDC expenses so as to not exceed the agreed upon percentage of sales
- Ensure recording and reporting of all incoming sales inquiries.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports for the GM and other Senior Management
- Monitor advertising expense and its return on investment
- Establish performance targets for each Business Development Representative (BDR)
- Monitor and maintain BDC departments financial performance vs. budget
- Manage and lead the BDR team to achieve a minimum performance of 20% appointments from incoming calls
- Manage the BDR team to contact every unsold opportunity to measure satisfaction and to take or recommend the appropriate action
- Manage the BDR team to contact every sold customer in accordance with dealership and OEM standards
- Manage the BDR team to contact all customers during the survey period in accordance with dealership and OEM standards
Job Qualifications:
- Demonstrate organizational skill and be detailed oriented
- Ability to collect and analyze appropriate performance metrics- Create appropriate reports
- Ability to recruit, train and motivate the BDR team

- Ability to interact with both senior and peer managers within the dealership
- Demonstrate an understanding and devotion to the business interests of the dealership

- Maintain standards for delivering sales opportunities to the sales and/or service departments
- High school diploma or the equivalent. College level achievement preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Five years of automotive business development center experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver license
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent communication skills
