What You’ll Do
- Increase our Revenue: Identify the most promising businesses to expand Jabu’s footprint. You’ll be on the ground, meeting regulators, forging partnerships with banks, stakeholders, customers and setting up local processes.
- Crunch the Numbers: Dive into financial modeling to analyze all our business. Present your findings clearly and convincingly.
- Build Relationships: You’re the face of Jabu, pitch to enterprises, negotiate with regulators, and make sure we’re the go-to platform for digitizing cash.
- Own the Outcome: Proactively solve problems, lead cross-functional projects, and drive Jabu’s vision of transforming Africa’s cash economy.

Key Responsibilities
Proactive Customer Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Identify & Engage Prospects: Proactively scout and reach out to potential customers through targeted research, networking events, and direct outreach efforts.
- Lead In-Person Meetings & Pitches: Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demos, and convincing presentations, addressing client needs and building trust to close deals.
- Drive Sustainable Revenue: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design offers, finalize contracts, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction to boost repeat business and referrals.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, enterprises, regulators, and other key partners.
- Submit & ensure regulatory compliance readiness in the markets we are opening.
- Negotiate terms and agreements that align with Jabu’s objectives.
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Build and interpret financial models to inform strategic decisions, assess profitability, and forecast investment requirements.
- Present findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Project Leadership
- Oversee cross-functional teams, coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth market entry and operations.
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet targets.
