We're looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team and drive growth in the FinTech sector. You'll identify new business opportunities, build valuable client relationships, and contribute to our strategic direction.
- Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities within the FinTech industry
- Help develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including agencies, vendors, and sponsors
- Research and identify potential clients for awards shows throughout the year
- Create compelling proposals and pitches for prospective clients in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
- Develop relationships with potential customer groups in FinTech and Financial Services industries
- Network and generate leads at industry events and conferences
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities for innovation and growth
Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in business development, preferably in publishing or events
- Strong understanding of sales principles and negotiation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (like Salesforce)
- Independent working style while thriving in a team environment
- Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed
